Michael Kieffer, APRN, FNP-BC

Michael Kieffer is a National Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for wellness and self-care. Known for his exceptional diagnostic skills and algorithmic approach to solving complex medical problems, Michael is dedicated to providing top-notch care to his patients. He believes that exceptional healthcare is a fundamental right and advocates for the Direct Primary Care model as a solution to the challenges within the current healthcare system.

As co-founder of Prime Care VIP, a mobile healthcare disruptor, Michael is at the forefront of developing bespoke, cost-containment DPC-based plans. Prime Care VIP is revolutionizing the self-funded landscape with a data-driven approach, offering real-time claims, risk, and savings data. By addressing problems early, Prime Care VIP reduces the likelihood of larger claims later, ultimately saving lives and delivering significant cost savings. Michael is committed to this innovative approach, ensuring that healthcare remains both accessible and effective.

Lainey Kieffer, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Lainey Kieffer is a National Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing personalized and comprehensive care to her patients. She began her career as a registered nurse in Miami, Florida where she grew up and received her education from the University of Miami. 

Dr. Kieffer’s commitment to continuous learning is evident in her achievements, including her Doctorate in Nursing in 2014. Her belief that individualized care is the key to keeping patients healthy has driven her to create Prime Care VIP, a membership-based Direct Primary Care service that prioritizes close relationships and quality time with patients.

In her role as a Nurse Practitioner at an academic institution, Dr. Kieffer was responsible for overseeing a panel of over 2,500 patients. With Prime Care VIP, she is able to provide even more personalized care, making house calls and spending quality time with each patient to get to know them on a deeper level. Her goal is to bring back the kind of healthcare that was provided years ago, where providers were accessible and easily reachable. Our mobile clinic allows for visits to your home where we can help you live your best life.
Dr. Kieffer is dedicated to helping her patients reach their health goals, and the close relationships she develops with them are personally important to her. She believes that exceptional healthcare is founded on the foundation of quality time and personalized attention. With well over 10 years of experience working in the field, she is well-equipped to handle a wide range of health concerns.

Jarrod Frydman, D.O.

Dr. Jarrod Frydman is board certified in Family Medicine. He has been in private practice in Broward County for the the last 24 years.

He is a graduate of the University of Florida and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internship and Residency at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Frydman is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Nova Southeastern University and enjoys training and working with young physicians and medical students. Dr. "J" also served as camp physician and medical director at Camp Towanda in Honesdale, PA for 9 years and loved watching children grow and mature.

Dr. Frydman has been a resident of Boca Raton , FL since 1999 with his wife, Meredith, and his children, Corey and Hannah. Dr. Frydman enjoys physical fitness, surfing, and traveling while spending time with family and friends.

Shannon Nelson, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Dr. Shannon Nelson is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in comprehensive, whole-family care — including women’s health, pediatrics, men’s hormonal health, dermatology and weight management. With a background in emergency medicine and a Doctorate from Florida Atlantic University, she’s passionate about taking time with each patient to uncover root-cause diagnoses to create personalized, sustainable treatment plans. Her approach blends compassion, clinical expertise, and a deep commitment to helping every patient feel their best.

Raphael Lopez, APRN, FNP-BC

Raphael Lopez, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a deep-rooted passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. With a clinical background that spans emergency medicine, urgent care, and mobile health services, Raphael brings over a decade of diverse medical experience to the Prime Care VIP team. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami and has served in high-impact roles across South Florida, including as a Clinical Director, Emergency NP, and urgent care provider. His approach combines advanced clinical decision-making with a warm, empathetic bedside manner—always placing patients and families at the center of every care plan.

At Prime Care VIP, Raphael is proud to offer concierge-style medical care in the comfort of patients’ homes, workplaces, or wherever care is needed most. His experience managing acute and chronic conditions in fast-paced environments ensures that each member receives timely, high-quality treatment with a focus on prevention and wellness. Fluent in both clinical leadership and direct patient care, Raphael is committed to delivering the kind of personalized healthcare that empowers individuals to live healthier, more informed lives.

Melissa Buchanan, DNP, ARPN, FNP-BC, CVNP-BC, AAC

Dr. Melissa Buchanan is a highly accomplished Nurse Practitioner, double-board certified in family medicine and cardiology. She graduated from the University of Miami with her Master of Science in Nursing in 2011 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2020 and currently practices in the greater Orlando Metro area.

Dr. Buchanan is deeply committed to creating an overall healthy population through primary prevention and reducing the incidence of chronic diseases. She believes early identification and risk mitigation are more effective to manage before complications arise. Her goal is to reduce disease burden and decrease healthcare costs. She wants to engage patients by freeing them from potential debilitating conditions and encouraging healthy behaviors. By focusing on primary prevention and risk mitigation, there can be significant impacts both on individual health and the broader healthcare system.
